Aftercare is one of the most important parts of the microblading process and can greatly affect the results of your brows. Follow the aftercare instructions carefully, and know what to expect when your eyebrows are healing!

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING AND AFTER MICROBLADING

  • The entire healing process will take 4 to 6 weeks depending on your body's regeneration and age. Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle.

  • Initially your eyebrows will appear very dark even bold, harsh and thicker than you wanted! DO NOT BE ALARMED! This is normal!

  • It is normal for your skin to be red and inflamed right after your procedure but should be significantly reduced by day 3.

  • By day 7 it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. However, this is just superficial color and dry skin being removed from your eyebrows. Allow the pigment to slough off naturally. DO NOT PICK! The final look of your eyebrows will appear about 30 days after your procedure.

  • Never rub or pick on the treated area as it will disturb the skin from natural healing.

  • 30%-60% of the pigment will be gone by day 10. This is Normal. Microblading is a two-step process, and you will need to come back in 4-6 weeks from the day of your procedure for a touch-up.

  • Your results can last for up to 2 years depending on your skin type and how well you take care of it.

  • Once your eyebrows are completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun.

POST TREATMENT CARE

  • For the first hour after your treatment, after washing your hands, gently cleanse your eyebrows with cotton and purified water.. Do not stretch the skin while wiping. Skin is well cleansed when there are no traces of pigment on the wipe. Let the brows dry completely and apply a very thin layer of the After care Gel provided. Repeat this process 3-5 times the first day.

  • Apply a thin layer of Aftercare Gel 2-3 times a day with a Q-tip for the next 7-10 days. Always wipe very gently first with purified water.

  • Before showering apply a layer of Bacitracin on the brow, this will prevent water from getting into your still healing Tattoo.

  • An important note about showering: Limit hot showers to 5 minutes (or take lukewarm showers) as to not create too much steam, which will push pigment out of your bladed brows. Wash your hair by tilting your head back at the end of your shower to avoid your brows from getting wet. Keep your face out of your shower water for the first 7 days and avoid excessive rinsing.

  • Remove the Bacitracin with a soft cloth or kleenex and apply the AfterCare Gel as directed.

  • AVOID for 10 days: All products other than the AfterCare Gel, including makeup, on eyebrow area, workouts which cause sweating, saunas, facials, steaming and sleeping on the brows. Be sure to use a clean pillow case.

  • AVOID for 30 days: Sunbathing/direct sun exposure, light therapy, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and creams containing regeneration factors.

  • ALWAYS AVOID: Laser treatments over the microbladed area (fraxel, IPL, etc), as they can destroy the pigments and cause burns. Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to faster pigment fading. Always protect your new brows from the sun with SPF, with the exception of the first 7 days.

  • Lastly... DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH your microbladed brows! DO NOT attempt to pick at flaking brows, or you risk losing pigment and causing scarring.

You can now enjoy your beautiful new eyebrows. You will simply love your new gorgeous youthful look!
